Main Duties
Purpose of the role :
To provide senior strategic leadership and oversight for the programme, ensuring strong governance, high-quality delivery and effective alignment between strategy, partnerships, evidence and impact. The Project Lead will act as a senior ambassador for the programme, supporting external credibility, funder confidence and long-term sustainability.
This role sits at the intersection of health inequalities, structural racism,
antisemitism and systems change. The postholder will bring senior-level
experience of the health sector, ideally including NHS, Integrated Care Systems,public health, commissioning, workforce or health equity settings, together with a strong understanding of how antisemitism and structural discrimination affect Jewish communities and wider health outcomes. This is an opportunity to establish and lead a pioneering national programme that will shape how Jewish health inequalities are understood and addressed across England.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential experience, skills and knowledge
• Significant senior leadership experience in a complex partnership,
programme or policy environment.
• Demonstrable experience of leading delivery in a complex programme
involving multiple stakeholders.
• Experience of the health sector, ideally within the NHS, ICS, public health,
commissioning or related strategic health environments.
• Strong understanding of health inequalities, structural racism,
antisemitism and their impact on health outcomes and access to services.
• Experience of influencing systems, policy or service change across
multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work credibly with a range of stakeholders in diverse contexts
and at different levels of seniority
• Experience of managing people, reporting, risk, governance and delivery
in politically and reputationally sensitive contexts.
• Strong judgement, diplomacy and the ability to operate effectively at
senior level.
