After you have found a job

As an alumni of Resource, being part of our community will not only be valuable to you in your career, but it will enable you to return something to Resource that will help current jobseekers get back into work as soon as possible.

Networking, as you know, is a vital activity to keep up at all stages of your career, and as part of the Resource Community of hundreds of former clients you will be invited to events to meet others in your industry, practice your networking skills, develop new skills and stay connected with the people you've met during your journey with Resource.

Our  former clients offer their support time and time again to help others by giving advice, sharing potential job opportunities and passing on their own experiences to newer jobseekers.

As a member of the Resource Community we ask you to help in three key areas:

Information

Use your knowledge and experience to elevate the knowledge of other clients. Direct them to useful websites, LinkedIn groups, trade magazines, training and/or qualifications that are important in your industry.

Introductions

The advice you were given, and the introductions we made on your behalf, are a part of getting you to where you are now. Help others on their journey and provide your own advice to our clients or make introductions for them. Simply help them progress in their field or perhaps help them to develop solutions to career issues.

Identify Opportunities

Keep your eyes peeled. There may be vacancies in the company that you work for, or you may learn of vacancies in another organisation that you’re aware of. Please pass them on to us.
