Main Duties
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Corporate Administrator & Bookkeeper to support the effective management of our corporate client portfolio and financial administration processes.
Working closely with the Corporate Account Manager and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative support across Group Protection and Workplace Pension schemes, ensuring the accurate processing of scheme member changes, renewals, and client servicing activities. In addition, you will manage daily income and bank reconciliations, bookkeeping activities, and month-end financial reporting.
Reporting to: Corporate Account Manager and Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Administration
•Support the Corporate Account Manager in the administration and ongoing management of Group Protection and Workplace Pension schemes.
• Coordinate the processing of scheme joiners, leavers, and annual renewals, ensuring records are maintained accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with the processing of Group and Workplace Pension contributions, both manually and through provider online platforms.
• Respond to enquiries from scheme members, consultants, and providers, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
• Prepare and issue corporate retainer fee invoices.
• Maintain accurate client and scheme records in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Bookkeeping & Financial Administration
• Complete daily income reconciliations using the company's back-office system.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations using accounting software.
• Investigate and resolve any unallocated income or payment discrepancies.
• Process bookkeeping transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Post month-end journals as required.
• Prepare month-end reconciliation reports for review by the Operations Manager.
• Support the business in maintaining accurate and timely financial information
Qualifications and Experience
Skills & Competencies
Essential
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong data entry and administrative skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
Desirable
• Previous bookkeeping experience.
• Experience using Intelliflo Office.
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• Experience working within financial services, employee benefits, or pensions
administration.
• Experience liaising with pension and protection providers and using provider
platforms.
• Understanding of Group Protection and Workplace Pension schemes.
