Last night, Resource had the pleasure of hosting one of our largest-ever Resource Community events at Google: WORK RE-IMAGINED WITH AI.
With over sixty attendees, the atmosphere was brimming with enthusiasm. Guests were greeted by the Resource team with snacks and refreshments, at which point had the opportunity to network with one another. After a lovely introduction from Resource CEO Victoria Sterman, we were thrilled to bring out guest speaker Terry Spitz, a Google Research Software Engineer, who gave an illuminating talk about the changing work landscape. Terry covered how AI has reshaped the whole world of work, from how it has grown to what it means in your career. He explained that as AI continues to develop, it will “replace tasks, not jobs,” and showed the audience how they can make the most of AI to make their workflow more efficient.
When asked about their thoughts on the event, attendees told us “Terry’s presentation was excellent. It highlighted where I could use AI for tasks that would free my time up for strategic thinking.” Another attendee said, “What a great session, I really am excited about how AI can change the productivity level of my job and make things even faster and efficient as the years go on.”
