Andrew Robson OBE, The Times Bridge Columnist was described as “engaging and humorous” as he lead a tutorial for over 120 eager guests at Resource’s exclusive Bridge event this week. The event, as part of Resource’s 30th anniversary program took place at Finchley Reform Synagogue on Wednesday 16 November 22 from 10am – 3.30pm.
As always, Andrew bid for everyone’s attention, through the complexities of end play, assessing opponents’ hands and other such mysteries, with his usual finesse. He trumped every quandary, never duplicating his explanations and entirely fulfilling his contract with Resource to provide an instructive and entertaining day. At no stage did even the least experienced player in the room feel vulnerable.
A delicious lunch was provided for guests, including family & friends, volunteers, staff and trustees giving guests a chance to mingle and learn more about how Resource helps the community back into work.
A fabulous time was had by all who attended.
