We were delighted earlier this week to spend some time in the sunshine for this year’s Golf Day at Aldenham Golf and Country Club. At the event, participants were met with a light breakfast before receiving snack packs and setting off for a day of playing 18 holes of golf over approximately four hours. A welcome refreshment stop with cold drinks awaited players at the 10th hole, helping everyone stay cool as they made their way around the course.
Participants returned to enjoy a delicious lunch, during which CEO Victoria Sterman spoke to the guests about Resource and the impact we have on people who are out of work. Awards and raffle winners were then announced, with prizes including Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive, the runners-up team, and the overall winning team. A special shout out goes to the generous donors of our raffle prizes for making this day extra special!
We were also delighted to receive wonderful feedback from attendees, with one participant sharing: "We had a great day, so well organised and can't wait to do it next year!"
