David is a shareholder in Kiddo One Ltd, and has to date set up four brand new, state-of-the-art nurseries in the London area. He is the Chair of Governors of Manor Lodge School, and in the recent past was the owner of a specialist tour operator, Solos Holidays Limited, and Chair of the London Lay Observers Panel for Prisoner Escort and Custody Services. David spent much of his working life in the printing and publishing industry, having built up and sold a fully integrated group of companies.

Mike has followed the development and success of Resource for many years and became a Trustee in 2017. Mike has previously been chairman and a trustee of The Liberal Synagogue Elstree and has worked on a number of projects for Liberal Judaism, the national movement. Recently retired, Mike worked as an internal consultant across the business and IT for Computacenter, Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services. He has a particular interest in marketing Resource to ensure that any potential user of the service knows it is available to them when they need it.

In all these roles he has recruited extensively across a wide range of specialisms and seniority, as well as mentoring colleagues. Jonathan works with individuals and senior teams on lifelong learning, multicultural effectiveness, and the connection between physical and psychological wellbeing. He draws on extensive experience in leadership development, team building, and coaching across global, complex organisations. Prior to this he worked as a Teacher and Educational Psychologist. Jonathan holds a BSc in Psychology, a Certificate of Education, a Certificate in Educational Psychology, an accredited Coaching Supervisor, and a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society.

Qualifying as a Chartered Engineer in 1985, Geoff has recently retired from a 42-year career in international Product Marketing and Management with responsibility for a range of hardware and software products sold globally to leading retailers. This activity included the full life-cycle management of retail solutions, as well as marketing and sales-training for local teams across North America, Europe and Asia.

Jacob is a former COO and experienced board member with a background spanning tech, FMCG, energy and the charity sector. He scaled a managed hosting business over twelve years before leading its successful exit, and has since held senior commercial and product leadership roles across Europe. Jacob currently consults on AI technologies and business strategy, and serves as a trustee for two organisations. He has also worked with well-known brands including innocent drinks.
Jacob joined Resource in March 2026 as an Advisor, offering one-to-one guidance to clients on their job search. He is looking forward to using his experience to help people build confidence and find the right role.

Shirley held senior management positions in the Pharmaceutical Industry in France, Israel, USA and the UK. Her background is in statistics and epidemiology, managing teams in Drug Development, Quality & Compliance and Training. She has acted as consultant to Hospital and University Development Trusts whilst Director of a Pharma Training company.
Shirley has served as Chair of Masorti Judaism in the UK and continues to be on the Board. She is also on the Board of Masorti Europe. She has lectured on SpaceIL, an Israeli project to send a probe to the moon. Shirley has been a presenter and attendee at Limmud for the past 25 years. Her three children are involved in the Jewish communities in the UK, and in China and Taiwan. She is fluent in four languages, always looking for opportunities to teach and learn new languages.

Anne has worked in Executive Search in the Media Sector for over 20 years. Former MD and Founder of the specialist search firm ' Lumina Search', she has recently stepped back to become Chair.

In her earlier career she was Education Officer at the CIPD, Executive Director of BBYO and Director of the Moving Image Society, an organisation for Media Professionals She lives in Pinner and enjoys spending time with her growing family. Anne is also a trustee of Watford Palace Theatre.

Jamie is Head of Community Services at Jewish Care where he is responsible for leading the organisation's services at Jewish Care's new Sandringham development. Kate trained as a barrister specialising in media law and was legal counsel for ITV. She was Chair of the Advertising Lawyers Group when she was with the advertising agency Young & Rubicam Group. She works with Jewish Care having undertaken many interviews for 'The Jewish Views' radio programme and leads the Barnet Reading Project having grown it to 30 groups around Barnet. She is a former member of the Board of Management for Finchley Synagogue (Kinloss), and was awarded a British Empire Medal for services to the community in the London Borough of Barnet in 2020.

Gill is a specialist paediatric neuro-physiotherapist working with children and adults with cerebral palsy and related neurological conditions. A Senior Bobath Tutor, she teaches postgraduate courses in the UK and internationally, and has authored professional publications and designed specialist equipment.
She has served as President of a pan-European professional body and twice as Vice Chair of her local synagogue. Gill continues to teach and enjoys bridge, photography, skiing, and volunteering in her community.

Julian is a Chartered Accountant, with extensive experience of working in the Education and Charity sectors. Julian recently retired as Trustee and Treasurer of The Holocaust Memorial Day Trust, a charity which promotes and supports Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD). He has been appointed to its Advisory Council. HMD has taken place in the UK since 2001, with a national commemorative UK event in Westminster and over 13,000 local activities taking place on 27 January each year. Julian is also Vice Chairman of VTCT, a vocational awarding body in the hair, beauty and wellness sectors, and which supports research into treatment for facial disfigurement. Julian is also on the board of local community charities, and previously worked at City & Guilds, Lloyds Bank, Crowe UK and PwC.

Galia holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology and is a member of the British Psychological Society. She is a fully trained Level A & B Occupational Test Assessor. She is a volunteer at Jewish Care in the Learning and Development Department and supports the HR Department. Galia was presented with a 'Contribution to Organisational Management' Award at Jewish Care in July 2012.

Barry is a solicitor, specialising in employment law. A former academic, teaching in various institutions in London and in Cornell University in the USA, his current roles include Director and Trustee of The Employers' Network on Equality, Practice Health Champion at St Andrews Medical Practice and Inclusion and Visiting Professor at Middlesex University.
A founder member of The Employment Lawyers' Association, Barry also served as a member of the Law Society's Employment Law Committee. He chaired the International Bar Association's Discrimination Law Committee, and sat as a part time Employment Judge for 27 years. Finally, he has also-co-authored a book and written many articles on employment law.

Michele is a qualified teacher who was latterly Head of Careers in a large school in Scotland. She has many years of experience advising and helping students to achieve a positive destination post-school. Michele has also led a team that developed employability skills through events and classroom-based resources.

Mike has more than 25 years’ experience as a communications professional, beginning his career in the so-called ‘corridors of power’ of the Houses of Parliament, where he represented the views of foreign governments and special interest groups. He has held senior communications roles in professional bodies and blue-chip organisations, focusing on issues as diverse as employment and HR, technology and digitisation, finance and the law.
In his spare time, Mike professes to be a football fanatic but as an ardent follower of Spurs, there are some who might disagree. Outside work, his passions revolve around family life, involvement in a number of community initiatives and charities supporting youth education, and swimming with marine life. If you look closely, you’ll see Mike has all his fingers still attached, despite spending time sharing a tank with leopard and tiger sharks!

Andrea’s early career was spent managing large IT projects for a number of corporate organisations. She wanted a change in direction and after volunteering at Resource she was so inspired by the work that they do that she retrained as a careers coach. Andrea has since worked at many university careers services in and around London and now freelances for LHH, a global career mobility and outplacement organisation. After a few years away from Resource, Andrea is delighted to be volunteering with them again.

Liron is an experienced fundraiser with a background in volunteer management and community engagement. In recent years, she led the establishment of the UK fundraising arm of a leading Israeli charity in the field of disabilities and rehabilitation. Liron uses her vast experience in strategic planning, event management and networking, to enhance Resource’s fundraising and growth. Liron’s background in law and compliance management in the private sector, has broadened her relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Suzy is a highly successful executive recruiter with over 20 years of experience in the media and technology industry. She is the founder of Ross Jacobs, a thriving full-service recruitment consultancy, and has also held senior roles at Intelligent People, Hamptons International and Freuds.
Suzy has a proven track record in placing top tier talent in marketing, product, and commercial roles and has worked with notable companies including Peloton, ATG, Monica Vinader, Regeneron, Channel 4 and Sealy. At Freuds, Suzy was the HR Director (Talent Acquisition) responsible for developing and delivering a 360 talent acquisition strategy from entry to board level.
In her spare time, Suzy enjoys life to the full and makes the most of living in London. She loves to try new activities, and her most recent pursuits have included aerial circus, playing the drums, and latte art.

Simon Samuels
Simon became a Trustee of Resource in 2025. Professionally, he worked in Investment Banking for 25 years where he specialised in the European bank sector. He Co Chaired the Bank of England task force on financial reporting, sat on several think tanks and is a former member of the World Economic Forum group examining deleveraging trends globally. In 2017 he founded a consulting firm, Veritum Partners, which provides advice to European banks. In the charitable sector Simon is a former Co Chair of St Albans Masorti Synagogue and former Co Chair of the UK umbrella organization, Masorti Judaism. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant and a regular Op Ed contributor in the Financial Times.

Trisha has worked in the voluntary sector for most of her career, with a background in counselling, disability awareness training and fundraising for charities. She has experience in developing new projects including a day centre for holocaust survivors and support groups for carers of people living with dementia and disability. A typical example of a ‘woman returner to work’ she has been involved with Resource since 1998, initially as an Advisor, and subsequently as a member and Chair of the Executive Committee. Trisha served Resource as a Trustee for many years before joining the Advisory Council.

Paul is an Executive Coach and has worked with over 150 clients in the last 10 years helping them achieve their career goals. He was a partner at Deloitte for 20 years where he helped grow the Corporate Finance Division by starting, developing and running three businesses which became market sector leaders. He also led the HR and Talent agenda for his division, focussing primarily on recruitment and career development. He also led Marketing for the division and was on the Executive Board driving strategy. He is a relationship builder who is able to find ways to connect with all different types of people through empathy, understanding and communication skills.
