Until now, clients would need to visit Resource’s North London offices for one-to-one meetings with their advisor and attend seminars and workshops. This has meant they tended to live within easy reach. Then came the lockdown and with it the challenge of finding an alternative way of providing the same support.
Resource, ever resourceful, took advantage of new video opportunities including Zoom to adapt and continue to ‘meet’ with clients who could no longer visit. And with the adoption of the technological solution came a giant leap, from North London to anywhere in the country.
Now anyone, wherever they are, aged from 18 to 80-plus who is looking for work, wanting to change career or is perhaps returning to the workplace after taking time out to raise a family, can ‘visit’ Resource for on-screen interactive, one-to-one guidance from one of its experienced, professional advisors. A client’s strand of Judaism - or none - their educational or work background or whether they have professional qualifications or experience are all immaterial.
They will be able to participate in webinars run by specialists to enable them to access help with every aspect of job searching, such as using LinkedIn and other social media. They can learn how to make the most of networking to locate work opportunities, prepare an effective CV, improve their use of IT, and be guided through their interview skills.
And the cost? Nothing. It’s all absolutely free.
How well does it work? As one client, Lisa, Head of Financial Planning at a digital wealth management company recently wrote to Resource: “I just want to say how impressed I am with the way you have transitioned to the new world. When lockdown ends, clients will again be able to come to Resource’s Finchley offices. But from now on they will also continue to ‘meet’ Resource from anywhere in the country, wherever they live.
